Originally from rural New England and now living in New Mexico, William Fowler Collins (b.1974) is a composer/musician/recording artist whose work explores and synthesizes both musical and extra-musical elements.

Collins has released music on the SIGE, Type, Blackest Rainbow, Handmade Birds, Daymare, Digitalis and Root Strata record labels. Current projects include solo recording and live performance. Additionally, he is co-founder of several duos including Thalassa (with Aaron Bradford Turner of SUMAC, Mamiffer, Isis), William Fowler Collins and James Jackson Toth (with James Toth of Wooden Wand), and Mesa Ritual (with Raven Chacon of Postcommodity).

William Fowler Collins has licensed music for dance, video, and installation.

In 2004 Collins graduated from Mills College with an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media.
